I'm not responsible for any damage, injury, or death happen when people using the information on this page to do stunts with their bikes...  This page's purpose is just to explain how those simple stunts being done, not to encourge anyone to do it...  Those stunts are dangerous and  illegal in public streets...

This page is about how I did two of the most being done stunts on bike which are wheelie (pop up your bike's front wheel off), and stoppie (ride and stop on your front wheel while the rear wheel off the ground)...

How to do a wheelie:

-In first gear, running at about 4000 rpm (rounds per minute, this is told by your bike's tachometer), try to sit far back on the back to help unloading weight on the front wheel (this helps on bike with less power), pull your throttle in (try not getting into the red zone on your tachometer or it may hurt your engine) while pull in the clutch in at about 4500-5000 rpm (pull just in enough to hear your engine rev, that's where the starting point of disengage of your clutch), when it gets to 7500-8000 rpm (or more if your bike is less in power) then let go the clutch quickly but smoothly...  There's your wheelie!...  When the front wheel pop up, remember always using the throttle smoothly...  Then change to second gear to keep your bike running smoothly and far...  When changing gear, just close the throttle then kick into second gear without need to use the clutch...  And since you have to pass thru neutral when changing from first to second gear, make sure to do a good clear and possitive gear up, that way you go to second gear, not get into neutral and  smash down on the road or rev your poor engine...  When you are ready to drop your front wheel down, always keep your handle bar straight, hold it tight enough so that you won't get a tankslapper (your handle bar wooble and "slap" on the gas tank)...  Using rear brake if you are about to flip backward, remember always apply smoothly...  Whenever you use the clutch, do it with 1 or 2 fingers, keep the rest holding your handle bar to keep it straight and tight...

How to do a stoppie:

-Try to do at slow speed (such as when you go to a stop), it's just much safer and easy...  Hold your legs tight onto the tank, bounce yourself quickly on the seat to help unload the weight off the rear, pull the front brake in hard but progressively, release the brake right away when the rear wheel pop up (you gotta have fast reaction, otherwise you will end up flip over and land on your head), keep pulling in and releasing the brake until the stop...  Whenever you feel that the rear starts to move aside, release the the front brake right away before it goes sideway too much and you will fall off...  Don't use the rear brake at anytime when on a stoppie, it doesn't help at all but just makes it harder to land back...  For practice, try to pull in front brake but don't before the rear starts to pop, release it until your feel very comfortable with it...

Always keep practice before doing a real stunt...  Always think safety first...  Always wear protections...
